What we will be doing this year

 
Silver Lining (formally Adpot a Nursing Home), a program of the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), is a statewide volunteer initiative with a goal to increase social connections through volunteer visits with people living in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and people with mental retardation living in state schools/centers. Requires 3-4 visits per school year. Patch will be given out at last meeting in June.
